As a manager, you likely care deeply about ensuring your team is fulfilled at work. But how do you balance this with ensuring that they deliver on outcomes? This course covers tactical tools you can use everyday to hold your team accountable to expectations and empower them at the same time.

As you step into your identity as a manager, your priorities need to inevitably change from focusing on execution to defining strategy. This course will help you get clarity on the type of leader you want to be, how you want to spend your time, and specific tactics to realize that vision.

This is a small cohort-based course that includes 5 interactive, bi-weekly 90-min sessions held virtually over Zoom, with assigned reflections to be completed between lectures. Optional office hours with the instructor are also available for all registered students.

About the Instructor
Divya Ramachandran is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner and holds a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of California, Berkeley. Before transitioning to launch her own leadership coaching business, she worked for over a decade in the bay area tech startup world, wearing hats in both User Experience and Product. She was first introduced to executive coaching when she was serving as VP of Product at a deep-learning startup and was struck by the transformational impact it had on her own leadership style. Divya draws from her startup experience and training in highly-effective frameworks based on energy awareness to help new leaders and managers tackle their most common challenges, and amplify their own impact across their teams.
